This moth has a purple-brown forewing with silver or very pale golden fascia.

 

The larvae create a long sinuous gallery mine.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a pupa.

Wingspan: 4-6mm.
Foodplant(s): roses (Rosa spp.)
Flying: Two generations, April-May and July-August
