This species has a grey/white ground colour with forewings flushed with pink as in similar species C. roseana.

Foodplant(s): Common Toadflax (Linaria vulgaris), Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata)
Flying: Two generations, May-June and July-August
National status: Red Data Book
