General Information

This species can be seen flying about the tops of trees on warm, sunny afternoons.

Flies during the day

Wingspan: c. 14mm.
Foodplant(s): Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris), Stone Pine (Pinus pinea)
Flying: One generation, May-July
National status: Local

Habitat

Clearings and rides in pine plantations and also on isolated trees, especially on heathland.
