The colourful larvae are most likely to be found in sheltered old hedgerows etc.
Overwinters as Overwinters as an adult.
Both sexes readily come to light, sometimes in numbers.

Foodplant(s): Rough Chervil (Chaerophyllum temulentum)
Flying: One generation, July-August and spring (hibernates)
