General Information

This species flies at sunset and sunrise.

 

The larvae produce long, narrow case when feeding on Bog Myrtle and a woolly case when feeding on sallow.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.

Foodplant(s): sallows (Salix spp.), willows (Salix spp.), Bog-myrtle (Myrica gale)
