General Information

Freshly emerged moths of this species are a green colour which fades to yellowish grey in sunlight.

 

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light.

Forewing length: 20-25mm.
Foodplant(s): Primrose (Primula vulgaris), docks (Rumex spp.), honeysuckles (Lonicera spp.), Bramble (Rubus fruticosus), Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), broadleaved shrubs
