General Information

This moth has a distinctive white band on the antennae.

 

The larvae produce a narrow gallery which leads to full blotch that may cover the whole leaf.


Wingspan: 8-9mm
Foodplant(s): Wild Basil (Clinopodium vulgare)
Flying: Two generations, May-June and August-September

Habitat

Borders of calcareous deciduous woodland.
