General Information

Distinctive resting posture. Coastal saltmarshes, occasional wanderers can be found inland.

Unlike the other members of the Pterophoridae, the Agdistinae have forewings which are not cleft or separated into 'plumes' UKmoths


Wingspan: 24-30mm.
Foodplant(s): Common Sea-lavender (Limonium vulgare)
Flying: Two generations, May-July and July-September
