Woodland species active in the late afternoon into the evening. Rough meadows, fields, waysides, uncultivated ground, chalk downs, hills, and grassy glades and rides in woods and forests

Foodplant(s): peas (Pisum spp.), vetches (Vicia spp.), clovers (Trifolium spp.)
Flying: Two generations, April-May and July-August
