General Information

When fresh, this moth is a bright green colour but this fades to a yellowish-brown with time.

 

Pupates in loose soil.

Overwinters as Overwinters as a larva.
Both sexes come to light but in small numbers only.
Often disturbed during day

Forewing length: 12-15mm.
Foodplant(s): bedstraws (Galium spp.)
Flying: Two generations, May-mid July and August-early September
UK Presence: Resident
